Christi Friesen Book Debut Party
at The Compleat Sculptor!

Join The Compleat Sculptor and Christi Friesen as she debuts her newest sculpting book Friday April 11th!

The event will begin at 6:30 pm with a short demo of one of the projects from her new book. After the demo Christi will be available to chat, answer questions, autograph books, and generally have a clayfully good time.
 
Christi's Books Christi is the author/artist of a popular series of how-to books on working with embellished polymer clay. She has also written many magazine articles on this subject. Her award-winning work has been featured in exhibits, shows and galleries.
Christi’s Sculpture Series books include project for sculpting dragons, cats, sea creatures and jungle life. Her newest book will feature a topic inspired by her recent travel to Australia!

Since many polymer clay enthusiasts have enjoyed incorporating some of Christi’s techniques into their own work, attendees are requested to wear or bring one of their own “CF inspired” creations to this event. As a special incentive to do so, The Compleat Sculptor will be giving away one of Christi’s original sculptures from the new book.
Only those who bring a “CF inspired” piece are eligible for a free raffle ticket for the drawing that will take place that evening. Don’t sculpt? Maybe this is your chance to start! And if not you can still win, raffle tickets will be available for sale.

About the Artist: Christi Friesen was born at a very young age, kidnapped and raised by lemmings. She escaped to California where she got married, had various wonderful kids, and amassed credit card bills. She is currently considering having a midlife crisis, unless there’s something good on television.
CF works in mixed media and combines polymer clay, glass, acrylic, found objects, gems and semi-precious stones, glass beads, pearls, precious metals, and pigments to make her sculptural pieces and art jewelry.
CF is an artist because she must be. Her goal is to amuse herself, and others are welcome to be amused as well. All her pieces are one-of-a-kind.
